From time to time, people tell me I’m in great shape & that I’m so lucky. But let me tell you, this is not something that has come easily! In fact, I’m pretty sure the fact that I was an overactive child constantly in whatever sport / activity has backfired against me at an adult where I have to work twice as hard now to maintain a decent body weight than someone who led a less active life and just watched what they ate. At this point, I personally workout about 4 times a week & monitor my calories daily. If you want to call that “luck” cool, but I call it obnoxious when I watch my boyfriend down a half gallon of ice cream, multiple PB&J sandwiches and half of a box of Capt’ Crunch cereal only to step back with his amazingly perfect body. In fact, he rarely even has to go to the gym & when he does, after just 20 minutes of weights his body is all puffed up like Mark Walhberg or something! THIS is the sexism of weight loss! I’m sure every women can agree that there needs to be something that can help. After trying several things like Insanity, the Master Cleanse, etc, this month (May 2013), I’m taking part in the Mango Challenge by TruDerma to see if this might be the answer!
